Deer Sausage Vegetable Stir Fry

Add some pa-zang to your supper meal tonight! We like to use deer sausage for this recipe, but you can use any kind of sausage you’d like to make this vegetable stir fry.

Start with 3-4 cups diced deer sausage (or sausage of your choice). These need not be tiny pieces.
1 green pepper sliced and diced.
1 yellow pepper sliced and diced.
1 medium purple onion sliced and diced.
1 ½ cups diced celery
5 large garlic cloves crushed.
½ tsp. Real salt or sea salt
1 tsp. Garlic Pepper blend
1 ½ tb. Italian seasoning (or more depending on your taste)
1 tb. Olive oil

In a large sauté pan, add 1 tb. Olive oil. On medium/high heat add your diced sausage and sauté 3-4 minutes while stirring.

Add 3 cloves of crushed garlic and all the onions. Sauté 2 min. more

Lower heat to medium/low

Add the diced green and yellow peppers, 1 ½ cups diced celery, 2 more cloves garlic crushed, ½ tsp salt (to taste), 1 tsp. Garlic Pepper blend, 1 ½ tb. Italian seasoning. Continue to sauté slowly, uncovered, until vegetables are softer but just on the crunchy side. Continue
stirring and mixing the flavors together.

Serve alongside another steamed vegetable of your choice and a salad and you have a yummy supper!

Enjoy!
