Chicken Alfredo Pizza

An original recipe from the kitchen of Ashley Turner

Pizza Dough:
1 Package Active dry yeast
1 cup warm water
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons oil

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Stir in remaining ingredients, Beat vigorously by hand. Let rise 15-20 min.

* Preheat oven to 425
* Roll out dough to fit pan
* Bake in oven approx 8-10 min

Other ingredients:
½ cup Alfredo sauce
2 cups mozzarella cheese
2 roma tomatoes
2 Tbs cut fresh Basil
½ to 1 grilled chicken breast (cut into small chunks)
¼ of a chopped onion
Dash of garlic salt

* Spread the Alfredo Sauce over the pizza evenly; spread 1½ cup cheese over pizza.  Slice tomatoes thinly, add to pizza, cut basil in to thin strips then add on top of the tomatoes. Add chicken and onions. Sprinkle with some garlic salt then top with remaining cheese

* Bake at 425 for 20-25 min or until nice and golden in spots on top
* Additional tips...
    1. You can substitute the Alfredo Sauce for olive oil and a pressed garlic clove.
    2. Use remaining jar of Alfredo Sauce for tomorrow night’s dinner
    3. I made grilled chicken the  night before and just made a little bit extra for this pizza.
    4. Serve with a nice fresh veggie salad to give it a real restaurant feel.

Enjoy this family favorite!
