Let’s Go Asian Tonight!


Want healthy and Asian too?  Try this easy, delicious and bold recipe.





Asian Shrimp

(chicken may be substituted for shrimp)

Ahead of time prepare your favorite linguine or rice.

In 2 tab. Olive oil, over medium heat, sauté 1 diced small onion and crush 4-5 cloves garlic. Saute' together 1-2 minutes  
Add 14 ounces – 1 lb. of large cooked (peeled and deveined) shrimp – thawed. Stir  and sauté together for another 2-3 minutes.

Add 1 heaping tab. Of Chili Garlic Sauce (Tuong OT Toi Viet-Nam)  Available in the ethnic food aisle at Target or other Asian store

Note:  If you like your nose to run and a little bite to your food, add another tablespoon of the chili garlic sauce.

Next add: 1 medium zucchini squash, diced or chunked in bite size pieces.

                  1 yellow squash diced or chunked in bite size pieces

Salt and pepper to your taste

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Stir and sauté 5 min. more or until squash is tender.  Leave pan lid cocked and not on tightly.

Add 1 large handful of diced fresh cilantro

2 large handfuls fresh spinach

Put lid on pan and steam for 2-3 min.

Remove lid and poor mixture over linguine or rice.

Add a salad and enjoy this healthy meal with pa-ZANG!

Serves 5-6
